Computer Numerical Control - CAD/CAM - Machine Design CAE - Finite Elements Analysis - Reverse Engineering

 

I received my B.S. (1984) and Ph.D. (1999) in Mechanical Engineering  from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. My dissertation title was "Determination of the impact tool stresses during Gear Hobbing and determination of cutting forces during Hobbing of the hardened gears".

 

Prior to joining the faculty at Technical University of Crete, I worked in the Technical Education Institute of Crete at Design & Manufacturing Lab.  My work there was in the area of production technologies, reverse engineering and mechanical design. Before TEI of Crete, I worked at TEI of Serres, University of Thessaloniki & Thessaly.
