Director of
m3 Lab received his
diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Aristotle’s
University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1984 and the Ph.D. degree
from the same University in 1989.
His research interests are in
Manufacturing, Computer Numerical Control, CAD/CAM, Machine
Design CAE, Finite Elements Analysis, Reverse Engineering and
Bioengineering. He is author of 7 books, and more than 140
journal and conference papers. He has managed or participated in
numerous (>50) R&D national and
European projects.
Member of the Research Team of
m3 Lab. Member of Laboratory and Teaching Staff of
Department of Electronics of Hellenic Mediterranean
University. She has received her diploma in Production
Engineering and Management, Technical University of Crete (TUC),
M.Sc. from TUC in Management
Systems and Ph.D. from TUC.She has
participated in more than 40 national and European projects
concerning data analysis, experiments’ simulation, preparation
of educational material, renewable energy sources’ exploitation,
energy efficiency and end-of-life treatment techniques of solid
wastes. Finally, she has 6 publications in scientific journals
and more than 25 conference announcements.
Dr. Dermitzakis Em. Eleftherios
received his diploma from University of Crete in Computer
Science and a Master's Degree in Operational Research and a Ph.D.
in Production Systems Managementfrom from the Technical
University of Crete.
He has participated in a large number of research projects in
cooperation with the Technical University of Crete(TUC), the
Hellenic Mediterranean University(HMU), the Foundation for
Research and Technology - Hellas(FORTH) and the Center for
Technological Research(CTR) of Crete. His research interests
include computer networks, information systems and databases.
Mechanical Engineer (MSc)
specialized in Manufacturing Engineering. She obtained her Mech.
Eng. Diploma from the University of Patras in 2010. She worked
as a freelance Mechanical Engineer until 2019.
She has been a member of
m3-Laboratory since 2014 participating in several academic &
research activities. In 2015 she obtained her Masters in
Production Systems from the Technical University of Crete.
Currently, she is a PhD Candidate focusing on gear cutting
simulation and she is also employed as a Manufacturing Engineer
for a manufacturing company / aerospace supply chain provider in
the UK. Her research interests and professional activities
include CNC machining, machining simulation, CAD/CAM modeling &
programming and manufacturing of high precision parts.
Evangelos Nikolidakis graduated from the National
Technical University of Athens, Department of Mechanical
Engineering. He is a Ph.D. candidate and researcher at
Technical University of Crete, School of Production
Engineering and Management and develops research work in
the area of metal machining processes.
His major research focus is on
studying a Finite Element Method (FEM) simulation model of laser
engraving process. He is experienced in executing research
projects at the national level and at the EU level.
Dipl. Eng. (M.Sc.) Michel Theodor
Mansour, obtained his Master’s degree in Production Systems from
the School of Production Engineering and Management, Technical
University of Crete (2015-2017).
He is a PhD candidate at School
of Production Engineering and Management, Technical University
of Crete and the title of his doctoral dissertation is “3D
Printed Sandwich Structures with Nanocomposite Flexible
Metamaterial Core (Hierarchical Honeycombs)”. His research
interests include Additive Manufacturing, Advanced Materials and
Mechanical Testing. His publications are 8 papers in
International Scientific Journals and Conference Proceedings.
Born in Chania in 1995. He received
his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the
Technical University of Crete, Greece in 2018. Since November of
2018, he is a Ph.D candidate in Production Engineering &
Management School of the same University.
His research interests
include programming in CAD environments and gear manufacturing
simulation focused in gear power skiving process. He has worked
as a lab assistant in Technical University of Crete, supporting
the education process.
Ioanna Pateraki was born in Chania
in 1994. She has received her Diploma from school of Production
Engineering and Management at Technical University of Crete. She
is a PhD Candidate in the same department, since March 2019.
She is a member of m3 Laboratory in
TUC since 2018. Ioanna has participating as a lab assistant
supporting several courses. Her research includes programming in
CAD environment aimed for gear manufacturing simulation
emphasizing on manufacturing process Gear Hobbing.
